1. Scope and Data Controller
This policy explains how Frontier DevConsults ("we," "our," or "us") handles personal information when you visit frontier-devconsults.com, use its public features, submit an inquiry, or engage us for services.
Data controller: Frontier DevConsults, Greater Accra, Ghana. Privacy requests may be sent to info@frontier-devconsults.com or through our Contact page.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Contact details such as your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, role, country, and website.
- Contact messages, project descriptions, requirements, reference links, requested features, budget preferences, timelines, and preferred start dates.
- Specialized-engineering information about equipment, existing systems, controls, monitoring, interfaces, connectivity, operating environments, safety considerations, and requested development scope.
- Application acquisition and licensing inquiries, including intended use, deployment market, buyer type, transfer preferences, completion requirements, support needs, and commercial timeline.
- Questions and conversation text submitted to the Frontier Assistant.
- Payment and billing details needed for an agreed engagement. Full payment-card credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider rather than intentionally stored through our public website forms.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Page path, referring page, browser or device user-agent, and campaign-attribution values such as UTM source, medium, and campaign.
- Interactions with product, acquisition, quotation, and specialized-solution features.
- Internet Protocol address or a derived identifier when needed for security, abuse prevention, and request rate limiting.
- Short-lived browser session storage used to remember pricing-currency selection and maintain an assistant session.
- Technical logs generated by our hosting and service providers.
3. Why We Process Information
Depending on your interaction and applicable law, we process information with your consent, to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform an agreement, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate interests that do not override your rights.
- Responding to inquiries and preparing quotations or proposals.
- Assessing feasibility, safety, scope, and delivery requirements.
- Evaluating acquisition, licensing, deployment, white-label, and partnership requests.
- Delivering projects, support, and agreed commercial services.
- Operating the Frontier Assistant and answering website-related questions.
- Sending submission confirmations and internal email or WhatsApp alerts.
- Measuring website performance and understanding which public services attract interest.
- Preventing abuse, protecting accounts and systems, resolving disputes, and maintaining required business records.
We will use personal information for direct marketing only where the required consent has been obtained. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
4. Required and Optional Information
Fields marked as required are necessary to submit the relevant form or evaluate the request. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to accept or respond to the submission. Optional fields may be left blank. Submission of an inquiry does not require you to enter a contract with us.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to providers that support the requested feature or our operations, including:
- Supabase: database and application-data storage.
- Vercel: website hosting, delivery, and technical logs.
- OpenAI: processing Frontier Assistant conversation text. Assistant API requests are configured not to be stored by the application, although OpenAI's applicable service terms still govern its processing.
- Resend: transactional and administrative email delivery while that service is configured.
- Meta/WhatsApp: direct WhatsApp links and administrative contact alerts when configured.
- Payment providers: payment processing when a transaction is arranged.
- Professional advisers and authorities: where reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law, or resolve a dispute.
We may also disclose relevant information as part of a genuine business reorganisation or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
6. International Processing
Some technology providers may process information outside Ghana. Where information is transferred internationally, we seek to use reputable providers and appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards consistent with applicable requirements.
7. Data Retention
We keep inquiry, project, specialized-engineering, acquisition, licensing, and commercial records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate or perform an engagement, provide support, maintain appropriate business records, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention therefore varies with the type and status of the interaction.
Commercial-event and technical-log information is retained only while useful for security, operational, and performance purposes. Frontier Assistant conversations are sent with provider-side response storage disabled and are not intentionally added to our application database. You may ask us about the retention period applicable to your information.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These include restricted administrative access, server-side credentials, validation, rate limiting, and encrypted transport where supported. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Your Data-Protection Rights
Subject to the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and any applicable exceptions, you may ask to:
- Be informed about and obtain access to your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Object to or prevent processing that causes unwarranted damage or distress.
- Withdraw consent, including consent for direct marketing.
- Request deletion, blocking, or restriction where legally available.
- Object to a significant decision based solely on automated processing.
- Complain to us or to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
To exercise a right, email info@frontier-devconsults.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also contact the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
10. Browser Storage, Analytics, and External Links
Optional visitor analytics require opt-in below. Anonymous session identifiers stay in browser session storage; page views, referring domains and approximate hosting-provider city/country are retained for up to 30 days. These records do not identify who a visitor is. Identifiable bots and authenticated administrators are excluded. Essential security monitoring and enquiry handling continue regardless of this preference.
Optional anonymous analytics are disabled. Allow page visits, traffic sources and approximate city/country to help us understand website usage. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override this choice.
The website uses limited session storage and collects first-party usage and attribution events as described above. Your browser can clear session storage and restrict similar technologies, although doing so may reset preferences or affect some functionality.
Our website also links to external services and live client websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their content or processing.
11. Children's Privacy
Our business services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly solicit their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can assess and remove it where appropriate.
12. Policy Changes and Contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, providers, or legal obligations. Material revisions will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
